North American Missions

The majority of these missionaries are supported through the North American Ministry . Below you will find some of these men and women that have visited our local church. We work closely with our through financial support as well as volunteer service.

Our church planters are planting churches across America as well as Canada, Mexico, the Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico. Our chaplains are ministering to thousands of men and women in the Army, Navy, Air Force, National Guard, and Reserve Forces. Our cross cultural church planters are connecting with the millions of people who have come to America from all over the world.

Buffalo, NY – Tim and Amanda York

Tim and Amanda York have joined Church Planters Brian and Emily Williams as team members to Buffalo, NY. The York’s are coming to North American Ministries from the pastorate at First FWB Church in Decatur, AL. Bro. Tim’s work will be concentrated in the critical and important area of discipleship in the new church while Amanda will help to create a ministry to the large deaf population in the area. This new area of ministry will be a first for the work in Home Missions. Please pray for the Yorks as they minister in New York.

Pueblo, CO – Mark and Donna Thomas

Mark and Donna have many things in common because they both accepted Christ while they were children. They both follow the steps of their parents and grandparents, serving as the third generation in Free Will Baptist ministries. Mark and Donna both earned Degrees at FWB colleges and served as Church Planters in Greeley, CO, from 1989 to 1999. The church in Greeley became self-supporting in 2000 and they served there through 2006. God has called them to establish Free Will Baptist Church in Pueblo, CO.

This city of more than 100,000 people lies 100 miles south of Denver at the base of the Rocky Mountains where the Arkansas River flows to the plains. The city of Pueblo is called “The Home of Heroes,” because of the many Medals of Honor awarded to its servicemen. It is the mail distribution center for federal publications. Less than 10% of the population attend a gospel preaching church.

Mark and Donna have two sons, Matthew and Jonathan. Pray for this family as they pioneer the work for Free Will Baptists in Pueblo.

Kingstown, RI – Bill and Christy Reynolds

Bill and Christy Reynolds are National Church Planters to the state of Rhode Island. Rhode Island is the second most densely populated state in the nation. Surprisingly, there is very little gospel witness to be found in that area. Bill and Christy have four children – Michaela, Hannah, Billy, and Sarah. Please pray for the Reynolds family as they continue to plant Beacon FWB Church in North Kingstown, Rhode Island.
