Missions

(Acts 1:8) But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Dr. Rufo Gomez – Lexington, KY

There are missionaries in our local communities, our country, and that travel the world. Here is a missionary that does all three.

Dr. Rufo Gomez continues to labor tirelessly with what can only be seen as one of the most successful works in all of Free Will Baptist missions – both international and domestic. Pastor Rufo has built two vibrant works in the Lexington area, and has planted and continues to oversee works in Fort Myers, Florida; Fitzgerald, Georgia; Homerville, Georgia; Tabasco, Mexico; and the newest one in Progreso Yoro, Honduras. On any given Sunday, over 400 of our Hispanic brethren will gather to worship in churches that are rooted in our Kentucky mission work.
Pastor Rufo writes, “We are deeply grateful to God for all the things that he has allowed us to do in 2016. Its a year of work and planning to advance. We sincerely thank the conferences in the State of Kentucky for the prayers and the great support to the Hispanic Ministry. At the Harvest Capital Church, our revivals are bringing new souls. We thank God for the church in Honduras Pastor Amilcar Castro he is doing a wonderful job. Currently they are meeting between 70 and 80 people. Our plan is to visit the church in Honduras with a group of pastor from Kentucky the third week of February 2017. It’s our first Free Will Baptist church in this beautiful Central American country.”
Please consider giving sacrificially to this wonderful ministry. Anything you can give will help!
